A strategic adaptation of the project has been announced: With different background and histories, including already COVID impacts the teaming and workshare sees a modified distribution. Both CRISA and Airbus Defence and Space Friedrichshafen have agreed to focalize the remaining development and test preparation with the work force in Tres Cantos, Spain.
At the same time QinetiQ, as one of the two thruster unit manufacturer in the consortium is handing over the remaining evaluation work of their newly developed T7-thruster to Mars Space Ltd, Southampton who have been cooperating with QinetiQ at several occasions in the past already.
Even in those more than exciting times the consortium keeps heading forward!
